Our Story
The story behind Sunny Days Salsa is simple yet incredible. What seems like a lifetime ago in his younger years, Bruce drifted a little off course and got caught up in the drug world. Some poor choices in that regard ultimately led to him being incarcerated for nearly 13 years. Needless to say, it was a pretty dark time he'd prefer to forget for many reasons. Amidst the darkness, something amazing began to happen. A new faith was found, a life was being transformed, and a new purpose discovered. Amongst that transformation, a dream to create the perfect salsa began. A salsa recipe that has become the Sunny Days Salsa we know and love today.
The road to commercial production didn't come easy by any means. It entailed years of perfecting the recipe, making small batches at home to keep up with customer's demands, legal paperwork hurdles, FDA food and safety compliance, and not to mention learning all the business dynamics and legal protocols that go along with it all. The goal was simple, yet difficult, and accomplishing it boiled down to good old fashioned honesty, integrity, and hard work. Join that with the perseverance to keep striving ahead, along with a lot of faith, and you get what has become one of the greatest success stories you'll ever hear.
